Application Process and Requirement
   
 
1.

Please first read "the NTU Guidelines for International Dual Degrees Program" carefully.

   
2. You should have studied for at least two semesters, i.e. one academic year, in your home institution.
   
3. Check if your home department/institute has signed the "Co-implementation of International Dual Degrees Program Agreement" with the NTU department/institute concerned (please refer to International Dual Degrees Programs List). If your university is not on the list, only graduate students can apply through the individual level agreement module in accordance with Article 5 of "the Guidelines for International Dual Degrees Program".
   
4. For applicants of individual cases for Master's or Doctoral degree, please pay attention to the following requirements:
i. Secure two advisors from both universities (est. time needed: 2 weeks to 6 months).
ii. The two parties are all responsible for the advising plan and issues in accordance with Article 5 of "the
    Guidelines for International Dual Degrees Program." (est. time needed: 2 weeks to 3 months)
iii. The agreement shall be drawn by the two parties. *Important reference: Guideline for signing
     agreements between NTU and foreign institutions
. (only in Chinese) (est. time needed: 2 weeks to 3
     months)
iv. All administrative procedures must be fulfilled according to Article 5 of "the Guidelines for International
    Dual Degrees Program". (est. time needed: 2 weeks to 3 weeks)
v. The agreement must be signed by both parties. Photocopies must be sent to the Office of Academic
    Affairs and the Office of International Affairs of NTU for record. (est. time needed: 2 weeks to 6 weeks)
vi. After the agreement goes into effect, the applicant must apply in accordance with the rules and
    regulations of NTU.
   
5. Due to the diverse professionalism, there is no template. Please refer to cases in implementation.

6. Required Documents
(All documents should be arranged according to the following order without other binding)
 
(1)   Check list
(2)   2 copies of application form
(3)   1 Original transcripts issued and stamped by your institution
(4)   1 English or Chinese translation of the transcripts
  (if the original issued by your institution is not in English or Chinese)
(5)    Chinese and English copy of  the Agreement
(6)   1 Study plan in Chinese or English
  (unlimited in length or form unless required by the intended department/institute)
(7)   1 Letter of recommendation Sample
  (written by the home institution professor or advisor of the applicant)
(8)   Financial Statement
 

Scholarship award winners MUST include the proof document. Otherwise, a bank deposit statement of the recent 3 months of at least NT300,000 (USD9,500) must be provided. The statement should be issued by the bank. If the statement is not in the name of the applicant, a declaration with signature from the sponsor must be included.

(10)   1 Photocopy of passport (if you have more than one, please send copies of all passports)
   
7. Application Deadline
  After all the above-mentioned documents are prepared, please send the application to the following address before the deadline:

8.  Practical Information
  If you have questions about tuition fee, accommodation, learning Chinese, and so on, please refer to “Degree Student Admission” --> “Practical Information”.
   
9.  Deadline
  March 31st (for the enrollment in the middle of September)
October 31st (for the enrollment in the middle of February)
   
  FAQ
1. Qualification:
Students with only the nationality of People's Republic of China are not eligible to apply due to government regulations.
