The NTU
International Scholars Service
Program was officially launched
by the Office of International
Affairs (OIA) in spring 2008.
Due to resource constraints,
the Program currently offers the
following services ONLY to
international faculty members
and visiting scholars who teach
or conduct research at NTU for a
period of no less than one month.
(Post-doctoral fellows are
cordially invited to the
International Scholars Reception
and are welcome to stop by the
office for general information
and a copy of the International
Scholars Handbook, but please
contact your affiliated
department for individual
service)

NTU Visiting Faculty ID
The NTU Visiting Faculty
ID card is a smart card that
comes with RFID and auto ID
functions and doubles as an
EasyCard. An EasyCard is a
convenient fare card with stored
value allowing you to ride on
the subway or the city bus or to
pay for roadside parking.
If you intend to stay for
more than one month, you are
eligible to apply for an NTU
visiting scholar ID card. Please
email the OIA office at
intlscholar@ntu.edu.tw with
your name and affiliation and
attach a 2x2 scanned photo two
weeks before your arrival. You
will receive your faculty ID
card after you register at the
OIA office.
